All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to a large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances and we will do the best we can to accommodate your request but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee it.
The U.S. Capitol is now accepting tour reservations through the Capitol Visitor Center website.
The Library of Congress is open to visitors with free timed-entry passes every Tuesday through Saturday, please visit their website to self-book these tours.
Due to COVID-19, tours of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, FBI Headquarters, and the Supreme Court are postponed until further notice. This page will be updated when tours resume. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit the Washington, DC Tourism Information page.
White House Tour Update
On behalf of the President and Dr. Jill Biden, the White House Visitors Office is pleased to announce public tours of the White House will begin on Friday, April 15, 2022!
Public tours will initially be available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. Initial opening capacity will be limited.
Obtaining a White House tour can be very difficult. It is very important to follow the below guidelines for your application to be considered. The following are policies determined by the White House for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:
- Requests for the White House Tours need to be submitted a minimum of 21 days in advance.
- Please be aware that groups requesting a White House Tour cannot request a specific tour time nor can tour times be changed after they are confirmed.
- IMP: Due to the fluidity of the White House schedule, tours cannot be confirmed more than two to three weeks in advance of the requested date(s) and are subject to cancellation at any time. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
