Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., today joined colleagues from the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, along with veterans groups, at a Capitol Hill press conference to unveil a 10-bill package designed to help the Department of Veterans’ Affairs accomplish its goal to eliminate the backlog by 2015.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Reps. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., and Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., facilitated a successful meeting today between senior Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials and Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu and Board of Supervisors Chairman Steve Miller. The county officials seek to renegotiate the terms of a Pinal County Jail contract that goes back to 2006.
WASHINGTON – The House Natural Resources Committee today passed a major jobs bill introduced by U.S. Reps. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Ariz., and Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., that would bring thousands of jobs to Arizona’s Copper Corridor.
